Dealing with Asian Lady Beetles and aphids

Hey I'm a 502 grower in Washington state and I have a field with roughly 400 plants in it. Last year I had issues towards the middle of the bud cycle with aphids and asian lady beetles and had to let it finish with them instead of spraying them that far along. So the bud when dried had asian lady beetle larvae in it and was a total pain in the ass to get rid of. Lo and behold today I'm inspecting my field and notice a lady beetle corpse on the ground in the soil and upon closer inspection I start noticing a few asian lady beetles crawling on some of the plants in the area. Then I flip over a fan leaf on one of the plants and find probably 40 aphids of different sizes on the bottom and feel like an idiot for not noticing earlier.

So now I looked through the field and have figured out that that around 100 plants in the field have some sort amount of aphids on them and the amount is growing, along with the asian beetles.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has had success with dealing with a large amount of aphids and asian beetles on a large outdoor crop and how you did it.

It wouldn't be an issue if the lady beetles just ate the aphids and didn't leave larvae on the weed, they also leave a different stage of the larvae inside the buds

It is the larvae that eat the aphids.. Or at least the larvae are much more efficient at eating them. Sure I have seen the adults eat a few.

I've been using a local product that is mostly garlic oil with a bit of pyrethrum in. Mixed with eco bb in the same spray bottle. It even got rid of my mites.

Asian Lady Beetle has become a huge problem where I grew up in Texas, thanks to some farmers importing them (similar cause to the damn feral hog problem). I’ve heard good things about Asian Lady Bug Killer made by Harris, used outside and inside homes (EPA rated for indoors). I know someone who uses it a barrier treatment between his row crops, and he uses a porta-vac to pull them out of plants they’re actually in (doesn’t spray directly on his crops). FWIW, I have never heard of it’s use on or near cannabis plants.
