soil mix of perlite, vermiculite, roots formula soil, and some liquid nutes. What could be causing this.had rapid yellowing and leaf los alot at the bottom half, ever since i gave fish emulsions, and a seperate feeding of pureblend grow pro, calc mag+ and some molass everything got much greener but those leaves havent changed much.i just did a foliar feed today with this stuff at half rated strenght for the indoor potted plants dilute.could something like this cause hermaphroditing? this is only chemicals fert used on it

I didn't really get what the problem was dude? I see some bugs most likely took a few bites from the leaves and caused some curling, either that or pH/cal/mag maybe but looks like bugs at the mo.

What exactly is the problem as the rest of the plant looks green plus those branches look cool and twisty, kinda dying to see the whole plant, please do show we dont bite. Peace

well this is what she looks like.she is only in a gallon pot and i just whipped up a batch of soil for her to finish off in im just not sure if im going to put in the ground or what so im still decidiing.the problems is in the one picture the leaves are gone off the bottom and most of the main stalk. Ever since a feeding or 2 shes stopped yellowing at the bottom but has that wierd discoloring and it looks like half the blade is missing and twisting at the same time. That chemical food i have is old and i wanted to foliar with it so i did. figured something like that would give me alittle relief for a def due to it having everything a plant needs to thrive.so 2 questions are what is that twisting, discoloring, half blade missing problem at the top a few tops have them.and that chemical fert, would it herm a plant do to my plants being all slow release organic

Hey cool plants man, whatevers wrong it aint much, i think foliar feeding chems is ok and organics in the soil, do not mix chems and organics in the actual soil, BIG NO to that. Whats your water like, you mentioned the cal/mag? Swear bugs have eaten some parts, seen any flies or small thrips on leaves or any other bugs? Think some of the half missing leaves were just munched on when small and hence when they grew they were missing bits and got deformed. Repeat oerwatering steps to make sure you are not overwatering. I find it hard to pin point any real bad problems at this stage but things have a habit of getting bad quick. Maybe someone else has some guesses, Hell take my evian challenge too if you want as well. Peace

I sen that when i was investigating mineral water, it isn't sold round the world so i gave it a miss although growers swear its good for weed too. Not saying you got cal/mag or that evian will help, just that take the challenge and post results in a week because it cant be bad for plants. Overwatering must not be an issue so make sure watering is correct and soil almost dries in between or the pot is light and feels like it needs a water.

I see the evian as liquid cal/mag for plants and readily available, maybe it will go on to help deal with cal/mag issues better. BTW plant looks nice, hopefully anything of what i said has helped or given ideas, if it gets worse repost another thread and go from there, maybe new ferts too and read up about organics and organic ferts, PEace

Do not use cal/mag supplements with the evian, it should have enough in for most plants. Peace

i wont use the calc mag im sure the one dose plus the happy frog and budswell have plenty of calcium.....so thanks for the input on my plant, its been threw some shit for sure. this grow is tricky and gets interupted due to doing it at home. would it be better to leave it in a windowsil in a house 77 degrees in part sun, or if i should bring it out in full sun for the next 2 hours.room prob lacks air circulation and carbon dioxide but is also in the growing temp for good growth...it is 90+ dgrees out with a nice wind

so for real nobody thinks that the curving and discloration of those leaves isnt a def? its deff not from bugs but i couldnt really tell what it is, its on certain tops so its more then just 1 kinda looks like a micro deff.ph is on between 6.3 and 6.5. and like i said its in a gallon pot and has been there for about 2 months

Iron deficiency was just a guess really, looks deficient now though, as to what seems a little tricky to call, wish i could nail it for you but could be anything to me from them pics. Sure seems a strange one, somthing i probably not come across no doubt.

Dont look iron deficient from that iron deficient pic but hey i still think there is some deficiency in there somewhere, those half leaves sure do look like a passing bug took a liking to them when they were smaller and developing though.:blsmoke: Peace

stickin around to give alittle insight on this..im not new to growing but im new to using different ferts each year..i took some more picture just a few minutes ago to try and get some better angles...the flower def seems to be doing nice and im having a shit ton of crystals show up already and very early.the picture of the fruit devolopment looks very normal..im just super confused on that discoloring. also i have side shoots that lost 80 percent of there fan leaves which leaves all the nodes short and lacking vigor in comparason to the good picture with the hairs....should i just cut those off and is there a way to clone them or is it too late?

Ok dude, looks like some bad marbleing on one or two leaves, explain how it definatly isnt bugs or pests so we can definatly rule that out? Peace

because i look at it and its only on shoots that had been threw the shittiest of shit and not on the thriving parts...but recently it looks like its spreading to those parts now...and its all on the same parts of the plant on most shoots

i mean look at it...everywhere that that is the leaves are like shooting in the opposite direction....this year i used soil that was from outside my old bosses house.Landscaper..so im not sure of whats in the soil....when the plant was being abused or neglected i should say it all started..then when i tried to fix it it downpoured and like 1/4 of the soil eroded out and tons of hard roots were showing..now all thats over and its in good shape again...but thats whats left...and it looks like the picture i posted off the net...if i really need to find a scope and check it out i will but im telling you i look at it blow on it study it..no bugs

Ok just wanted to rule this out, thrips can make leaves twist and eat half or part of the leaf when just small, as it grows it comes out deformed. Thrips are hard to see and find believe me but im good if you dont think it is bugs.

So the plant is growing good again after problems? If the effects aren't getting worse then should be good but if its getting worse and dropping leaves well problem still there.

Outside soil is pretty hit and miss in pots. How did you try and fix it, with ferts? If the soil is muddy and hard it could make the watering and ferts hard and exsposed roots aint good although not too much of a problem, stop it happening again and cover them back up and firm the soil gently around them. Peace
