design question

hey everyone. I am new to this site but most definitely a fan. I would like to get some opinions as to how i should go about setting up my closet grow room in my apartment.
here are the stats:
The space is 4x6x8ft (8ft is the height)

I want to do 24plants in soil

I have one 1000w hps/mh switchable ballast
and an air cooled reflector

I plan on using a charcoal filter and putting the exhaust fan in the ceiling pushing the air into the attic space

I will be getting fresh air from a window that is 14' from the grow space

So i would like some suggestions on how to best set this room up I have been doing some research but I can't seem to get straight answers so I am asking the pros here.

Thanks for all your input:leaf:

I would get at least an 8 inch inline fan to cool the room
Have it set up like this:
carbon filter>>>>air cooled 1000 watt reflector>>>inline fan>>>>>attic

>>> = ducting

cool thanks for the input. I used an equation to calculate the cfm rating i would need for a 192cubic ft room (4 x 6 x 8=192) and its right around 100cfms do they make an 8" with that low of cfm rating?
also should i get the same fan for intake?

You will need more than 100 CFM's to cool that light I can guarantee that
That is why I said a 8 inch inline because it is a powerful fan... that is what you will need

You should be good on a 15 foot stretch as long as you have good ducting that doesn't have any tiny holes in it
You won't need an 8 inch intake fan though
