Sure. Just don't over water because the plant will be too small to use up all the water of the large capacity pot.
You may only have to water every 10 days or so to begin with.
Starting with big pots will allow the plant to grow fast without any restrictions.
cool thanks for the quick response, i got another question are you not suppose to pack the soil in the pot because i packed it pretty tight and the plants are growing quite slow, maybe the roots are having trouble growing it the tight soil?
Soil should not be packed tightly. It will restrict root development and speed of growth.
When you place your new soil in the pot it should be loose with no lumps. You then simply lift the pot an inch or so an drop it a couple of times to get rid of any air pockets.
That's all you do. Never press down on the soil.
thanks a lot man......i think im going to restart my grow, and trash my existing 2 plants. one of them is healthy but growing very slow, and the other has an evident phospherous deficiency, purple under the leaves, yellow spots they are 2 weeks old and just starting to grow the second set of petolites i see in pics that peoples plants are wayyy bigger at the stage im at...this is my first time growing....as you might be able to tell....thanks for the help
dont kill them, just start a new grow and keep them growing.. its not gonna bother the rest of the plants..
they will probably be bigger in the long run than the new plants u start.
