DIY Areoponic cloner

I built a DIY areoponic cloner with the help of my local grow-shop guys... I was looking into the "daisy cloner" but they insisted I'd be happer with a DIY, and I am!

But I still have questions I didn't get answered there --

H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide), is it just to keep "bad" stuff from growing in the tub?

Cloneing gel/powder/whatever -- Do they make cloning "stuff" I can mix directly in the water?

I have a timer that's 15min/15min off/on...should I use that or just run the misters & air pump 24/7?


I've tried cloning several times already with 0 success, hoping this makes it a LOT easier...
 
need alot more info bro like pics #1. um we need to know how and where your cutting from, what strain, temps, lights, humidity, media, tools, etc.
 
you can use clonex solution in the water. 10 ml per litter of water. ph around 5.2 and the ph should climb to about 5.8.
you dont need too much light to root floros will be great.
frozen water bottles will work to keep water cool enough.
 
I would just use hydrogen peroxide to clean it in between uses.

I built my own diy aero cloner and it works amazing. I dump out the water every 7-10 days and clean whole system with a 1 part bleach 5 part water mixture, when its being used for clonin. I use just regualy phed water and when the little white tips of the roots start to show i add a little bit of House and Gardens roots accelerator.

I dip the clones in Clonex cloning gel, i've tried the powder and it works just about as good as using no rootin hormones at all.

and i've heard that a really good timin to have it set to is 15 mintutes on 3 minutes off. worked great for me. have also done it spraying 24/7 and they all survived as well, didnt root AS fast though.

how much roots excelerator?
 
I use half of the amount tthey say you should use on the bottle at first. when the roots are starting to really take off i give them the full amount and let the roots get nice an big before transplanting into some roots organic soil.:)
 
My buddy at the hydro store told me that you cant overdo it with the Roots Excelerator. it wont burn them but using more wont make it work more its just wasting it.
