Do I need Cannabis Lisc or Grow Certificate in CA?

Hello,

I been lurking around this forum for a while, and finally decided to join up n have a good time! :bigjoint:

I live in California, Alameda county. My question is, do I need a so called cannabis license or grow certificate in other to grow MJ? Or just a cannabis club card prescript by a cooperative doctor will do. ( or are they all the same thing)

I know that I can have 6 mature plants and 12 immature using cannabis club card? But what if I want to grow for other patients? How many plants can I have, in other to be safe within the CA and county law.

Also read a caregiver can help grow for 3 patients max? So that's 18plants and 36 immature? I'm a bit confused, but really appreciate if someone can give me few pointers. Thanks!!

As long as you have a recommendation from a doctor to grow medicinal cannabis, whatever excess you grow can be sold to a collective for distribution amongst their patients. Some collectives require that you become a member of the collective, some of them do not. In California, the attorney general guidelines require that you be a member of the collective to sell medicine to them.

If there are three person living under the same roof who each has a medical cards, that means you can grow up to 18matures and 36 immature?
