if you cut off tte big fan leaves to give light to the little buds will it stunt the growth of the top buds. i dont know if hhis is going to post right.

The way I understand it is the fan leaves play an important role in the plants processes. Their relatively large surface area allows them to photosynthesize more energy, relative t their growth needs, thereby providing energy to the plant. They also provide a store of nutrients which will be used by the plant during it's maturing, causing them to yellow and drop, from the bottom up toward the end of flowering... As I understand it...

thanks i heard some one say that so i did now i find out bad bad bad will not do that any more i am not very good on the computer trying to learn to post reply. this is my secend grow i at end of week 6. is it true about mollases goog for the plant a sorse of food for the last 2 weeks of flowering.

From what I've heard yes it is good during flowering. Its sappose to increase resin production, also fattening the buds up a bit. From what I've heard you use Blackstrap molasses, or Grandmas molasses found at Safeway, Alberston's, ect. I think its 1 table spoon to a gallon and can be used all the way to harvest date. Again, this is what I've read, never used it, but will try soon.

Molasses is good during the whole flowering phase, and a rate of about 1 tbl per gallon, every few days. The last 10 days to 2 weeks are for clear water flushing prior to harvest... At least to me that is...

can you start at 12\12 and mix mollases with food and water untill last 2 weeks of harvest then just water.

I finally broke the habit of removing fan leaves. Now I only remove what falls off naturally. I think my girls like it this way.

I dont remove any leaf unless its damaged. I do however trim all the fan leaf off 2 or 3 days before harvest. One reason is to spread out the harvest work the other is to have less plant material holding ferts so i think it pulls out any ferts remaining in the last days.
