Hey everyone, so after growing a few autos and having the smoke come out harsh, I'm going to adjust some things to achieve a smooth smoke such as:
1. a longer dry time of 10-14 days instead of the 5-6 day dry(I'm in Arizona). Just bought a humidifier and a dry tent.
2.I suspect I've been harvesting too early so I got a digital microscope on amazon to check trichomes. After going through dozens of harvest ready posts, I'm still having trouble determining if my girl is ready to harvest. The trichomes look cloudy with some amber but her buds look like they could bulk up a little more. I want a more medicinal effect for back pain. What do you fellow growers think? I made the mistake of not marking the day I planted her because I kept following breeder info to harvest after 60-70 days but I've realized most autos can go much longer. Strain: Top Gun Auto from Atlas Seeds.
