So I just finished my first grow which was a coco coir grow. Well now I'm doing dwc, had a female in flower now she's a big girl for her age. Well last night I saw she was dropping like she wasn't getting water. So I figured it had to do with oxygen and water temp, since it was a bit warm(70++). Well she never responded to my fixes and now she looks gone... Fucking sucks, she was about a month info flower with some nice buds, if I can't save her can't I use her for hash? Is this root rot? the roots don't smell or look weird or anything

A plant only 4 weeks into flower would never be worth smoking or making anything from it. At that point it probably doesn't even have many trichs and they would be so immature it wouldn't be good.
Fuck man, lost another plant this wasn't even out of veg, this one definitely has root rot, is that what might cause this? The plants look like they haven't been watered but their sitting in fucking water so that makes no sense at all. What's causing this? High water temps? Not enough oxygen? I REALLY REALLY NEED SOME HELP, debating going back to soil. I just invested a lot of time into building 2- 4 bucket RDWC Setups, I've been running all my buckets separate but I think by connecting them to a central hub I can keep my temps down using frozen gallon jugs instead of 15- 16 oz water Botttles. Plus I'm going to put my ice prob on the flowering resivoir, and I'm going to get another commercial grade air pump. I checked my ph on both the plants when they died, both were within an acceptable range. Thanks in advance.

Is there plenty of room for your roots to leave the basket and get into the water? Or are the roots getting trapped in the pot?
How often are you changing water in your buckets?
The only time I have ever had problems in DWC in Veg is when I over nute. As soon as you notice, dump the water from the res and start over. Im cautious after that also. Put only PH'd water in the res for a day or 2 maybe even some H2o2. Then dump and refill the res with Ph'd water and maybe 1/4 strength nutes.
What was the ppm when your plant started dying?
I have had much better luck being able to fix problems in DWC than in Soil. Once you get the hang of bubbleponics, you will love it.. Dont give up yet

There is never a need in growing to pH water. It does nothing but waste pH adjuster solution and time. PH affects nute uptake via roots, if there is no nutes there is no need for a specific pH. When mixing a res always: water+nutes+additives then adjust pH last.

Understood, but if he is doing a flush, doesnt he want the roots to be able to release excess nutes back into the res? Wouldnt the PH work both ways?

For DWC need to keep water temp below 70* use ice bottles insulate buckets etc, 100% light proof root zone, plenty of oxygen from air bubbles or waterfall/flooming, keep ph around 5.8, EC around 1.0 - 1.2ish (500 - 600ppm .5x conversion) for bloom, run a little cal/mag with low ppm water, and run bennies or sterilizer, stay away from nutes with organics for now.
If you are not maintaining all of this, there is a good chance you will have problems with DWC (ask me how I know). Are you running air pumps or anything for o2 in the water? They will drown if not which can produce droopy leaves.

thanks for the replies everyone. Yeah, i have tons of bubbles going. Im using a commercial grade air pump, cause most of the aquarium ones cant push air that deep into the water. Anyhow, yeah im a little uncertain of the ppm. it was over 1000, starting at 0ppm(im running reverse osmosis Dionization filtration).

Some Nute lines instruct you to adjust PH up after the base goes in. House and Garden specifically does this. But I never adjust plain water on those occasions I flush...
first off.. Roots love warm water not chilled..and take your top feeders off they rot the bottom of the stems..which is probably what is happening.. Make sure you have many small bubbles..room in 70s iz not to hot..plants can take up to 86..make sure roots are white..have plenty leed way..and your using good nutriants..(general hydroponics brand).. Flora Nova..
