DTW hydro setup

Im currently trying to figure out an automated feeding setup. Need some help.
From what I can figure out so far I need...
1. waste collection bucket
2. Nutrient/Water bucket.
3. Pump(to push liquid to the plants)
4. drip hoses
5. Timer
6. Manifold
7. mixing pump and timer

Questions
1. do the nutrients stay mixed (as opposed to settling to the bottom) or do i need something like a secondary pump to mix it?
2. Is a basic timer all i use to control feeding amount?
3. what am i missing?

also, suggestions on a pump and timer for a 2 x 2 area. Thanks

you need some type of manifold on the pump depending on how mnay sites you have.

i use a DiG 6 port adjustable.

and just a basic digi timer. play around with it until you get enough water to the plants. mine is set at 7 minutes.

and i do use a very small pump in the res and some tubing to make a waterfall to keep it aerated and well mixed

do you just leave the waterfall on all the time?

What about some sort of filter?

yes on the 24/7, no on the filter.

i love dtw. no worries about pH or EC, etc. costs a bit more for nutes but who cares.
