Duel CFL broke

Ive got a 300 watt duel CFL but last night the red side broke , But the blue side still works,You think it will still be safe to use? For a week or so.

yes it will be fine, i had the same problem once and used it for a few weeks and then gave it to a friend who is still using it now 6 months on!!

Where did the CFL break at, was it in the grow area? I was kinda searching this topic a few days. I wanted to know if there would be any ill-effects from smoking buds from a plant that received the mercury vapor deposits from the inside of the CFL. If the plant/s get contaminated will smoking the buds contaminate the smoker? The other day a y-splitter fell out of the power strip onto my potential mother plant... no major damage an no CFL break. knock on wood!!!
