dwc drain?

I don't believe i have ideal dissolved oxygen levels, and no money to purchase more air pumps

however i have the ability to drain my dwc buckets very easily, for any amount of time. (down to 1 second)

I could literally have the buckets drain, and immediately fill back up, leaving the roots without contact of water for about 45 seconds.

I would have to think this would be beneficial for oxygen levels in cases where you don't have enough air pumps
what do you all think?

Now, i don't know for sure so take this with a grain of salt...

I would imagine that if you permanently exposed some of the roots above the water level and circulated that air that you'd be giving them quite a supply of oxygen.

But what you're talking about is basically transforming a bubble bucket into a flood and drain system... which would be kindof inefficient but it would work
