DWC Growbox Full Spectrum CFL Setup Looking for Feedback
HEllo All,

This is my first hydroponic grow here are my stats

I have 2 seeds either white rhino or purple kush
I have 2 6400k full spectrum CFLS
My reservoir is only 9 liters but i plan to run a fogger as well as an air pump
The temperature rests usually around 84.5F
I am using Sure to grow cubes and loose fill. For those of you who don't know what that is , its similar to rock-wool
I have 2 120mm computer fans, 1 intake and 1 exhaust for air circulation

So I began on Feb 2nd and by the 6th I had full germination which can be seen in the 4th picture entitled "Feb 6th". I was pleased with this result . The stems are a little bit stretched, but I am more concerned with the more recent picture I have taken. Since the 6th there has been minimal growth. And one of my plants has shown a slight burn on the end of its first set of leaves. No new leaf sets have formed. I am looking for some advice to why the growth has stunted. I have been watering fairly often but trying to avoid over water. I use botanicare veg at 1/2 strength of seedling dose to mist plants with

Comments/ suggestions welcome

Thanks

It will work. My buddy built something like that in a rolling Stanley work bench/tool chest. Yields will be small and buds won't be very dense. If you can, you may want to run it in Aeroponics. It is a bit temperamental but it if you can keep the plant healthy it will be a better and faster yield than growing in soil. Just watch temps when flowering. You don't want it to get to hot when you are trying to fatten up your buds as you will probably have buds right on the lights. If you can afford it, you may want to look into an LED light. You can get away with a small one in that space..

Didn't see you said you were running hydro. Ignore the soil comment above. You may still want to try aeroponics though as a test....

Also can you tell us what the roots look like right now? What color and how many. Are you using a rooting agent?

Are you planning to put in a fan? Also what is the material you use on the side for reflecting lights? they looks pretty cool.

Thankx everyone for the comments, to answer "Bulldog". I am going to be using a fogger , sort of aeropnics it will turn nutrients and water in a mist for the roots to absorb. and to blade9z I have 2 120mm computer fans , one exhaist at the top and intake at the bottom.

I'm going to try to make it a little hotter in the box because I read a hydroponic article that said that if the environment is too cold , plants will stop growing

If anyone has any other thoughts as to why my growth has hit a plateau let me know
