Hi guys,
Apologies if this has been asked before, I tried to search but couldn't find the correct answer, so here I go.
I have an Ebb and flow system ready. My seedlings all have their first set of leaves and I know they should go into my system when the second set of leaves starts to develop.
Seedlings are currently in n propagator growing in rockwool and I am planning to place the rockwool in Leca in a net pot.
My first questions is...
I did not know I should soak my rockwool first and planted the seeds straight in there, is there anything I can do now to maintain my PH levels better as the rockwool keeps pushing it up?
My second question is, if I have my max fill height level just touching the rockwool (bottom 1cm) before it starts draining out again, how often should I flood it and for how long?
The rockwool tends to hold a lot of moisture and I am worried about root and collar rot. I have already lost 4/12 babies because my rockwool was too wet
and am worried I might lose more if I dont get advice soon.
