East coast long shot

Hi guys,
Im gonna take a long shot here and hope it may pan out.

I recently moved to colorado springs from Ithaca Ny, I had a friend in Ithaca named Dave K. we called him "fats". I recently spoke to him and he said he had a friend here that was established in the MMJ trade. I moved here to work and grow and was hoping someone would recognise this name and maybe reach out to me.
