Hey RIU!

Been browsing the forum for some weeks now, and about time i began posting aswell!

I bring to you my first grow-log! :joint:

Setup:
400w HPS
exhaust-fan with coal filter
all walls covered in Mylar
CANNA fertilizers

My three babies have reached puberty, been flowering for a little over 3 weeks now! I'm stoked

Got one growing the old-school way, christmastree.
Topped one just before blooming, giving several top-colas

Tried to tie the third one down to grow in a circle around the pot, but the autoflower-gene kicked in after 3.5 weeks of veg, so didnt get that far

Afternoon RIU

the lower fanleaves are starting to turn yellow and wither, is this something to worry about?

My computer is giving me hell these days, at a friends place so cant upload any pics right now. It's been really hot the past few days, and the temp in the room have increased to about 30C, can that be the issue? I'm running 24 hour lights with a 400watt in a closet about 1.5m x 3m in size.
The tips of the smaller higher leaves are turning yellow, and some of the lower ones are almost all withered away. (been cutting off the dead material)

Or am I thinking in the wrong direction? could be something else aswell i guess, not my thumbs that are green yet

It's just a nitrogen deficiency. nute solution.you must feed your plants. and you only need 18/6 light cycle. read the beginner grower forums. you'll find it all there.ventilation problems are easily solved. good luck

I'm seconding this motion bout the 18/6 ^^^^^^^^ the root system grows most and best during dark periods so often 24/7 can result in poor root development, think about it, the smaller the mouth the less food you eat the less you grow...
