like n1k said, Local hydroponic shop.

or you can get 150-250 watt home security hps lamp and make your own refelctor ect. ( stores like Lowe's , menard's, possibly home depot sell thsee )

there is a guide for that on this website some where.

cost about the same tho.. i would suggest googling hydroponic shop's in your area.

I'm not big on referbished stuff but I never hesitate to buy off Ebay if it's something I want. Never had a problem yet! It shows the seller is a power seller and has good history so I wouldn't hesitate if I wanted that set up.

You can get a 1000w in that price range, I say it's way too much money just look on craigslist and you can find 250w warehouse lights like that is made from for $25. I've gotten truckloads of them for free up to 400w but usually they are under $40 for used 400w warehouse ballasts.

You are paying $75 extra for the 5 minutes of work it takes to make one remote ballast like that. And you could find even a dedicated 250 grow ballsast for less on craigslist if you are too scared to wire it yourself.

Just make sure whatever you get is for the right voltage (110 or 120) if that's what you want.

yeah ebay is cool but the best way to do it is use some 1 elses ebay account and get it sent to a different address

just because it was a grow light doesnt mean its illegal right?
doesnt that mean its illegal the govenerment IS NOT allow to track that
which really doesnt say much of course when it comes to the govt but
ordering seeds is ILLEGAL ordering a light isnt right?

so i should or shouldnt i be worried

ive tried searching craigs list because i didnt find lots of mh lights one time for real cheap
but now everytime i search it does show me anything

for me it just depends on what you're ordering and how you look at it. On ebay your name is hidden to everyone but the seller so its just like ordering from a store. Just make sure they are a legit seller.

You can go to the hydro store but thats just as big a risk as ordering online really. Say there'd some cops monitoring the store and watching who goes in. Those would be local cops and that would be even worse. I dont think this is really anything to worry about just putting it in perspective
