Ever see anything like this?

I got a plant growing that was stunted for about it's first week and grew two tiny 3 bladed leaves. Then right in the middle where it should have been growing more, it stopped.


We thought it died. It didn't. It produced TWO main stalks on the side of it. It topped itself or something. I'll throw up some pics, but anyone ever heard of this?!?!

It looks like a mutant, I hope it's a female!

Weird man. I had something similar on one of my plants though it didn't go through a period of non-growth. I actually didn't really think it odd until I chopped her down only to find what appeared to be a second main stalk growing from the bottom (I had mistakenly thought it was a just a regular branch).

I also had a flower growing at the base of one of my fan leaves. Sucker ended up being about the size of my pinky finger nail.

Yeah, only thing I can think is that this seed really had a will to live, and no matter the obstacles if the first stalk didn't work, it produced more. Can't wait to flower it and see what kind of buds (hopefully female) it has on it. If it's a male I'll pass on this will to live phenotype to one of my females by pollinating it!! Thanks for the reply

Weird, I wonder if the main tip died somehow, maybe got damaged, so it grew out around it. The auto-topper! lol

that is odd. I got a plant going now and its go some 12 tip fan leaves

Hahaha yeah, it's the only reason I can think of why it was so stunted in the beginning, because it topped itself automatically on it's first fucking NODE, then took a while to grow two other main stalks next to it. I don't know but it's a phenotype I want to keep, so I'm gonna breed it and get seeds!

maybe your riginal top node dried out or was nocked and died and it just did what a plant should store energy and grow
