exhaust fan and filter (technical question)

Hello there, preparing for my 1st grow
If my exhaust fan has two options 180 and 140m3/h, and my carbon filter is 175m3/h. Can ir run my exhaust fan on 140m3/h, or it's gonna burn down? Having stealth issues, cuz 180m3/h option is pretty noisy

no thats fine the filter rating is the max it can handle! but anything less is fine. is it a TT fan?

I put my cheap and noisy fan in a small box stuffed with more strips of cardboard, made a huge reduction in noise. Added insulated ducting and it's so quiet I can sleep in the same room, even with the fan blowing/sucking turned to maximum.
