Hello, I'm starting a grow soon and I have a few questions about exhaust. I plan on converting a part of my closet (around 2'x3'x7', possibly a foot larger on the width). I'll have a 250w HPS in there without a glass cover or cool tube. I planned on having passive intake at the bottom, and an inline duct fan at the top. There are two inline duct fans I can get, a 4" one rated up to 80 CFM, and a 6" one rated up to 250 CFM. I planned on pulling the air through a carbon scrubber on the inside of the box. I already purchased the 6" fan, however, I did some research on the carbon scrubber I planned on making (Ryoko's DIY $30, where you just wrap some carbon pre-filter around a tube of wire mesh), and it said it was best used for lower CFM fans.
Should I downgrade to the 4", and will that be enough to cool off my area? Or should I keep the 6" and make one of those can type filters where you pour the activated carbon in it?
