Fan placement help

Hello,

I am seeking advice on where to put a fan for cooling lights. I plan on using a fan to cool off the lights through duct work attached to the reflector. I am wondering where to place the fan for cooling off the lights. Should I place the fan for intake (blowing cool air over the lights and pushing the air out) or should I place the fan for exhaust (sucking the air through the duct work past the lights)? Note that this is related to cooling the lights only, I will be using a separate exhaust fan (with passive air intake) and oscillating fan for air circulation and CO2 replacement.

Please let me know if the question is not phrased well and requires further clarification. Thanks in advance!

using your fan for exhaust purposes will be more efficient. the best way to set this up would be to have your intake near the bottom of your grow area with duct work going to your light, then duct work exiting the light into a fan which you have exhausting hot air out the top of your grow area.

Always pull your air throught the light.
