So, i dont see a thread anywhere on these, i know there has been a thread on far red led before but not these specifically.

Has anyone used one of these by RapidLed??

They are supposed to iniate flowering faster and cut flowering time by a few days

It is $29.99 and you HAVE to have a ac12 adapter to power it.

So roughly $37.

Does it really save 10-15 days??

Lets start a talk on this.

The Far Red initiator is designed for limited use. From what I understand you need multiples to cover a grow area.

I have developed a Far Red Board. It is designed to work in a 2x2 enclosed area. The board also has a uva 385nm channel. The Far Red is about 40w @ 1.4 micromoles using Luxeon SunPlus 20 diodes. The board uses a MeanWell lpc-60-1050 driver for 40w power.

I also have a Royal Blue 460nm 1.66 micromoles, and Deep Red 700nm 2.0 micromoles, board with two channel 75w total power. The R/B board uses an lpc-60-1050 driver for a single board in a 2x2 area, and an MW HLG-120H-C1050B driver for two boards in a 2x4 area.

These boards have been designed and will be delivered in the next week or so.

You can DM me for more info and availability. I imagine the first run will sell out quickly.

Aren' you lighting 22 plants? No way that single puck with 4 leds will make your grow shorter like you hope. Maybe if you had 10 of them.

The Growmau5 pucks are meant to cover a 3'x3' area so order whatever you need. Be careful about using products being pushed on these forums by sketchy forum members, especially the ones like VegasWinner who refuse to be a paid advertiser and instead choose to spam the forums with no concern for being legitimate. He's not the first person on here pushing products using fake samsung diodes and I'm sure he won't be the last but just be careful. There's a reason people like him don't/can't become real advertisers.

I bought 3 of the Growmau5 flower initiators myself and just started using them. Here's a video by the man himself explaining them. There are also links to many of his other youtube videos which are very helpful.

You need multiple led lights for most all the cheap led setups
