Figuring Veg Time

When you figure days of veg, do you figure from planting, emerging, germinating, lighting your shirt on fire with your last doob?

I've Read Veg starts when your plant has 3 original leave sets
(not counting the coteldons)

Once it breaks the soil and survives and starts to grow is when I start counting. Its normally a week or so from breaking ground.

I only grow clones, so I consider veg beginning when the first roots break out.

If I grew from seed I would consider veg beginning when the first real leaf set appeared.

so currently i have my 2 plants on a 16/8 cycle should i continue this or would it be a good idea to switch to 24hrs on

well if your plants have more than 3 sets of leaves, you should go 24/0 untill you do if you dont

I would go 24/7. Some go 18/6. I guess it's just a matter of preference.

ok can you go from 24/7 to 18/6 without force flowering inadvertantly? Also can you take indoor outdoor on a nice day?
