Update on the mistakes I have made so far, didn't pre wash cheap coco(550 ppm on runoff) corrected . Led lights waaaaayyyyyy to close!(poor girls suffered severe burns) corrected, overpotted,(going with it for now) semi corrected, changed watering style. Also growing too many varieties for a noob, but other than that I've only lost one so far(burnt too bad) the other 3 are looking small due to the over potting, but healthy(other than their burns) learning as I go thanks to this forum✌150805first+attempt.jpg 150805della+.jpg 150805Reggie.jpg 150805penny.jpg 150805the+griz+.jpg

Yep, della is gone, popped a new one to take her place, things are going much slower than I expected, thought it might be my temps, only hitting 72℉ for the hi, 66℉ for the low, turned down the speed on the 8" exhaust fan now I'm holding at a steady 79℉ hopefully that does the trick

what strains are you growing? Also you said you changed your watering schedule but what is it now? Should just be water with no nutes until the cotyledon leaves die, also could you take a picture with normal lights on at some point as well cos its hard to tell what colour they are under the LED's haha

I changed my watering style not really schedule, since they are in such big pots I place a cup over the plants and water away from the roots to make them reach for a drink, the survivors are a grizzly auto, a pineapple chunk and a Afghan kush, I'm using straight tap water, mine comes out at 130ppm ph is 5.6-6.3 I do add a little calmag+ to it because of the coco, but only 1ml per gallon, I'll take some new pics soon

You can easily skip on the calmag for now man, save that till they tell you that they need it or if you want just start adding it later in veg or something but at the moment theyre literally too young to need any calcium or magnesium so all your doing is increasing your ppm's. You also dont really need to make the plants roots stretch too much through where in the pot you water, just make sure you let the coco dry out before watering again and that will make sure your roots grow out properly, itll also help make sure you dont over water which is the most common issue for first time grows.

Just a couple "real light pictures" the first picture is penny, my pineapple chunk, the second is griz a grizzly purple auto from blimburn, and the third is Reggie, a Afghan kush that is probably going to be male, only because it's my only "regular seed" but he is the one that reminded me to check my runoff water, 550 ppm, seems to be taking the longest to green back up and in curl, but the newest growth looks much better

And the mistakes keep coming, not sure just how many times I thought I was killing them, jury is still out though, I may still, but so far everything is still alive, my auto is starting to look like an alien, should get something off of it, not much, but at least something

Wow, been forever since I was on here, guess a quick update, the griz was chopped down a long time ago, like a lot of new growers I chopped it wayyyy to early, the 2 pineapples are on day 22 of flower with about 6 weeks at least to go, since my last post the mistakes I have made are chopped the auto way too early.... Got me buzzed but tasted like hay, split the stock on my biggest pineapple, used some twist ties and held it together, she still thrives, hmmm that's about all, cept maybe for the quick pics update:bigjoint:

Well at least your learning, should be getting a decent crop out of the pineapple but with the flavour and smell all of that really comes from a proper dry and cure. I leave mine to dry for a week and cure for 2 more weeks before I start on it, but also I already have cured bud from previous harvests which allows me to just smoke that while I wait for the fresh bud to cure a bit. I also try and leave a jar of it just tucked away somewhere for a rainy day and damn after 3-4 months they start to smell amaaaaaaaazing, I've got a 4 month old jar of acapulco gold that im leaving for 4/20 next year man and I cant wait. But yeah make sure you have some hygrometers and some glass jars and I'm sure your pineapple will finish up real nice, also when you chop id advise drying it as a whole plant as that way it dries slower and therefore smells nicer or at least in my experience thats the way it goes.
