First DWC grow, Need help.

I have been looking like crazy but can't find much info on when to start nutes and how much to use.
Could someone link or tell a me solid method?

I am flowering with 5 gallon DWC buckets in 8" net pots. My separate grow room tote is holding my plants in 3" net pots though.
I was wondering whats the best way for me to move the plants from the small pots to the big ones?
Any feedback is nice.

The easiest way and least damaging way to do this is to keep the same plant in the same pot through out the whole grow. as far as using the nutrients, I would use 1/4 strength nutrients after about a week or 2 of vegetative growth. (from seed or clone) once they have decent roots, I would use 1/4 str nutreints for a week or so. then on your next res change, use 1/2 strength, then on next use 3/4 or full strength Nutrients.

Its always better to underfeed your plant and have it alive than over feed it and kill it.

I was thinking of maybe just placing the 3" net pot in my 8" net pot when flowering.

Would this hurt root growth? Or would it grow through the smaller pot like any other grow medium?
