First Grow Coming Up, Water temp and nutes in RDWC

So when doing a res change, do I fill up the entire system with water, dip a gallon of water out of res, mix nutes in that and pour back in to the res? Is that the best way? Or just pour the nutes into the res? Seems like the gallon of water seems like the best bet.
That'd work. I usually run about half the water in then start with the nutrients.

Your EC is dependent on a lot of things. For instance, the more oxygen you pump into your water the less EC you will need. That is just one example and this is the reason why you get so many different answers. YOU gotta figure out how to do you on that one.
Start low cause its easier to fix under-fertilization than over. 200-250 PPM.
Someone on here showed me this chart a long time ago and it has done me nothing but right.
It should point you in the right direction.

Your water pump is whats going to heat up the water, not the air pumps. Air temps dissipate rapidly over length.

2 EC is insane to me but to each their own apparently.. I don't even hit that with my veg or flowering plants and I got 6'-8' girls. I let the plants tell me what they want to eat by watching the ph+Ec. Not by what some schedule says..
