hi im new to growing so im gonna need alot of help. ive already started after awhile but i hit a few problems. i dont know if im doing the lighting right. i have a 2 foot flourescent light which has 20 watts, 4200k and 1200 lumens . then i have 3 table lamps. one 15 watt flourecent lamp, i dont know the lumens or the kelvin. one 14 watt table lamp which i also dont know the lumen and the kelvin. and another 23 watt table lamp and yet again i dont know the kelvin or the lumens. i was thinking of buying 2 42watt, 6500k cfl light bulbs from here :
http://www.expresslightbulbs.com/compact-fluorescent-cfl-grow-light-bulbs-p-2.html
to replace the table lamp bulbs. or should i get the 40 watt lights with 5000k from here :
http://www.lightbulbemporium.com/satco_s7336_40w_spiral_pro_series_5000k_cfl.asp
im not so sure about the florescent lights though. the big white 2 feet light says that the lightbulb is a t12. im not sure if i can buy a t5 and replace the bulb in there. if any one can give me advice on that that would be great. if the t5 lights could be used in the housing i have now i would probably get one of the higher end bulbs here:
http://www.expresslightbulbs.com/grow-bulb-t5-fluorescent-p-162.html.
and lastly the flourecent table lamp. i have no idea what the size is. it's like 1/4 of the diameter of the 2 feet white flourecent light. if anyone could tell me what to do with all my problems that i have that would be great. this is my frist grow so i hope it'll turn out well.
by the way i have some anglematic autoflowering feminized seeds from the ministry of cannibis. i know what some of you are saying. "oohh autoflower, what a noob." yeah its my first grow so i kinda wanna make it easy. like i said again any advice would be extremely helpful. money is an issue for me here, im in quite a tight spot so i cant buy any fancy HPS bulbs or anything like that. im putting off some brand new nike id's that ive been wanting to buy for awhile now so i gotta make this project work.
maybe i should just buy these:
http://www.amazon.com/Feliz-Watt-Grow-Light-6500K/dp/B0034QE9ZY/ref=pd_sim_ol_1
and
http://www.amazon.com/Brite-Wing-Wattage-Fluorescent-Fixture/dp/B001VOCUOS/ref=pd_bxgy_ol_img_b.
would that be better?

The pics will show the setup i have now.

well you need to read alot. first of all get rid of the lights except the flourescent tube. go to walmart and get 4 6500k 42watt cfls. you also need a fan blowing on them. no nutes for the first month of growing. for the lights it should cost you about 10 bucks at walmart. for flowering you want to replace 2 of the 42 watt bulbs with 2 23watt bulbs once flowering is taking place. and thats per plant

If you really cannot afford a small 150-250 hps then you have to go with the highest cfl bulbs you can get. At some point you will realise that it hasn't really both financially and yield wise been viable and that you should probably have gone with hps.

Light is everything when it comes to yields m8. You need to get the most lumens per sq 'whatever' that you can afford. not table lamps n stuff.

cfl are the low wattage new type funny shape bulbs, they run at sat 20w but give off 100w. 4 or 5 of those in each colour spectrum blue/red will prob get you through.

Or some t5 type bulbs, the long thin ones.

Be patient at this stage. weigh up pros and cons. look on ebay or whatever for some hps bargains

I do have a fan blowing in there. Ive heard that HPS lights get really hot so im not sure if i wanna get that just yet. And i thought theyre suppose to be for flowering? Would a 125 watt 6500k cfl light be enough for about say a month? Then ill probably get some more lights.
