First grow in soil pellets.

ok so its my first grow and i have planted 2 seeds into these strange soil pellet things for germination, during this stage should i not have the light on? and how tall or old should it be before putting light on?

also how long will it be before i see it sprout?

You dont need the lights before they break the surface but it doesnt hurt because you want it as soon as they do. For some reason i enjoy seeing roots pop out the bottom more than i do seeing the actual leaves unfold

ok so how far away should i keep the light from the seeds, its in a humidity dome?

What kind of lights do you have, you dont need them to close to begin with
