First Grow, not bad for $5 clones lol

What up!

I've been lurking around here for about a year now and finally got the opportunity to grow a couple plants.

I appreciate all of you who have taken the time to post your knowledge about growing!

The wife and I were blessed with some great $5 clones from a sesh event out here in LA,

Some Fire OG (Top Row) and Wedding Cake (Bottom Row) - currently in Week 8 of Flowering, Day 80 from clone

Lights Used : 1 x 150w cfl 6500k, overhead all cycles
2 x 100w cfl 6500k, side lights (veg)
4 x 100w led 2700k, side lights (flower)
1 x 80w LED 4 head clip on light, with blue, red, and full spectrum (flower)

3 lights in veg, 6 lights for flowering

Soil- Miracle Gro Moisture Control (Veg)...sue me :cool:
Fox Farm Happy Frog (Flower)

1 Gallon Nursery Pots (Veg)
3 Gallon Smart Pots (Flower)

Nutes: Heavy 16 Line (except Heavy roots & Heavy Foliar) & Great White and Orca Myco, watering with RO water clocking in at 5.0 ph

Lights Cycles- First month Veg: 24/0
End of Veg: 18/6
Flower: 12/12

anddddd didn't use a grow tent this run, but definitely will next time,
I haven't had any issues with pests or molds, all thanks to Plantonix Neem Oil
We can't wait to harvest these beauts!

Not bad for not having a tent and adequate lighting. Didn’t see you mention calmag either. Might wanna get some of that using RO water.

Thank you! Yeah I didn't use any Cal Mag this run, but definitely will throw it in the mix
How much of a difference would I have seen using Cal Mag all the way through?

The only reason calmag is needed is because RO and distilled water doesn’t have any calcium or magnesium in it. I wouldn’t say it makes a difference, more of reducing the chance of having a deficiency. Secondly you said your Ph was at a 5? That’s extremely low, even if you were growing in coco which requires a significantly lower ph than regular soil. Regular soil or organic, ph at 6.5-7. Coco, ph at 5.8-6. Reason being, you want the plant to be able to uptake the nutrients you feed it. If the ph is off, your plant can’t take advantage of the food you provide, and could potentially cause a lockout at some point.
