Hey lads this is my first grow this is a sweat girl called skunk 1#. seems to be going good so far, if anyone has any advice for me it would be appreciated, us noobs have to learn somehow ha. I think im going to give it another 3 to 4 weeks before i begin to harvest this little beauty. I used a 120 grow tent with bio mix soil and bio starter nutes, 400w CFL.

Feedback please

Pretty cool. Did you do some defoliation to it or is that how it grows. Really burly roots in that middle pic. I have added a little soil to mine at times to keep em covered. Looks out of this world.

You got a lot of weight coming yet, what are you giving for bloom nutes?
I feed her with Bio-Bloom and Bio-Heaven in a 2 litre jug, I give it around 2/3s of the feed one day then next day i feed the left over after a quick stir and water for 2 days after, I am still learning just experimenting on it at the moment.

Yes I took off the bigger leaves as they were blocking light reaching parts of the plant. Other smaller leaves i just took off as i heard that the plant will send all of its resources into making bud not to waste it on keeping the leaves healthy. as for the roots after I transfered the plant to a bigger pot and watered i had no extra soil left over, I still think that the roots would be alright, have you any experience with this, would it effect the under roots much.

I bought them from Irish seed bank, next seeds i buy ill be getting from the company Sensi seeds, Im interested in learning more about big bud for its higher yield from its smaller size, and also looking into northern lights from the same company, they could be my next grow:eyesmoke:

Looking good! Definately give it a few more weeks! Question about your watering schedule, When you feed do you dilute the nutes in water? If so how much did you feed, and about how much water did you use on watering days?

I feed it bio bloom and bio heaven, 40mls of bloom and 10mls of heaven, in 2 litre jug, then stir, I then put 2/3 on one day and next day the 1/3, two days later when its mostly dry id give it some water fully until soil is completly saturated, I mist every so often aswel, how about yourself

Good start.
Next stage.
Put the money you save (from not buying weed) into a 600w hps, decent extractor, hydroponic kit.

Plants looking good, not sure about your grow area though, would you not invest in myler for the walls or at least a tent for better light reflection, im still new to growing but before starting i thought investing in a decent grow area would be important.
Congrats on your grow though look well.

i have a 4x4 tent aswell just stared seeds for that and as for the walls being painted white thats ok beacause a 400mh for veg and 600hps for flower is well enough for my 3x3ft cuboard

Well best of luck you seem to be doing well at the moment, do you always use 400mh for veg and 600hps for flower why not 400mh and 400hps on both.

the first couple times i just used 600hps far away but they stretch as u learn when starting out! but she eats the electricity so i bought a dimmable ballast i can use on 250w 400w 600w and 660w super lumen which i havnt had on super lumens yet!
so i now use a 400mh for veg after there seedling growth and the 600hps to flower its an extra 50w for each plant!! more watts mean more buds
