First Hairs?

Where do I look for the very first hairs? I assume the top, am I wrong? I have a fem. blue moonshine (spiral LST) that has been on 12/12 for almost 2 weeks and still no sign of sex. I figure this is because I started 12/12 at 2.5 weeks of veg....not mature enough yet? She already has 8 or so tops, flower already dammit!

Yeah, the first hairs show up toward the new growth first. It will show when its ready. Some plants take forever depending on environmental conditions and/or genetics. My plants showed after 28-35 days on 18/6, so you should be within days. Be patient...they'll eventually show.

Since I'm LST'ing, do all the new tops count as new growth? On account of the hormone change and all that...Does anyone have any experience when DP's Blue moonshine? this is my second grow, first with some serious genetics

You will see hairs at the top of all new growth once the plant is mature enough to show sex. I've got three plants LST'ed and they showed sex the same time the all natural ones did.

Wish somebody would post pics of plants when they start to flower.

there's no need, once the hairs show you will know what they are...patience pays off in the end.
