Hello everyone so i came here for help. I live in Michigan where temps outside are never the same, i bought a house that has no basement and so the garage was my last resort.
Anyways the veg and flowering room are both completely insulated, See the pic I posted.
veg room is the same as flower accept around 15ft L
Flower room dimensions are 8 1/2ft L x 5ft W and 8ft height
I want to do around 10 plants at a time under 2 1000w raptor 8" and 5 at a time in veg so i can regulte 5 in 5 out.
I will be using the full line up of Advanced nutrients up too grand master.
I'm running 2000 watts in flowering Room and
3 (2) lamp t-5's in Veg room soon upgrading to a (6) lamp.
750 CFM 8" fan pulling hot air from both lights then exhausting out of a vent on top of the garage.
500 CFM 6'' fan intake in veg room with H.E.P.A Filter before coming in.
My plan was too circulate air through both rooms with 1 intake and 1 exhaust by putting a hole with filter between flower and veg room.
I also installed a 15000 BTU A.C in the veg room too cool both rooms see pic again.
I'm maintaining 70 degrees in both rooms easily,
But my problem is the humidity, sometimes it reaches 80% usually staying around 70% with 55% minimum when its not so humid outside.
*so when its humid outside, then its humid in my room as my intake pulls directly from outside.
*so here comes the questions and i appreciate all the help.
1:Are my humidity levels ok with the overkill circulation i have? I understand there high so i might be buying a dehumidifier soon real short on cash atm.
2: If the humidity levels were ok for my veg room, should i do a sealed 1500 ppm CO2 grow since my flower room is completely air tight sealed already.
3: If i was too do a 1500 ppm CO2 sealed room grow all i would have to do is move the end of my exhaust through the wall too my veg room that way i would still be cleaning the air in my veg and cooling hot air from lights, all without disturbing my flower room. Not only would this solve the problem with bringing in hot humid air too my flower room but it would also ensure no pests and from what i hear a better yield.
4: How hard is a sealed grow room too control i wouldn't imagine it being too hard considering my room extremely sealed.
So i appreciate ANY input on anything even if its not something i was asking. thanks everyone happy growing!
Here id a layout of the entire garage and grow setup.
