First Step Taken!!! :D

So just received my Grow tent last night it's a Secret Jardin dark street 90 2.5. It's about 3' x3' x 5.5' I didn't assemble it yet but i took it out of the box and checked all pieces were there and the tent itself was not torn or damaged. My next step will be to get my grow light kit, im gonna go with a 400 watt ipower kit that comes with cool tube and timer. Third step will be to get the carbon filter kit. Once i get all my stuff, im going to setup everything and do a dry run for the first two days to make sure lighting and heating and air exchange is nominal before i start planting. I'm so very excited about this, i didn't even know about grow tents or i would have done this sooner. Man i can't wait!!!!

Go with a 600w trust me on that you will have better results since the 600w HPS has a much better spectrum. Also Dont get iPower lights they are chap China crap and have a poor track record, just ask around on here. Get a good digital ballast and HPS bulb, it is cheaper to buy good parts the first time instead of buy cheap parts first then only have to replace them after a few months.

Wow did not know ipower was made in China. I was torn deciding between 400watt and 600 watt but now that you mentioned it I might just go 600 instead. I might just shell out some more cash to get the bigger name brands out there like Lumatek or Quantum. The reason why i was thinking 400 watt was because my buddy is an electrician and can get me free HPS bulbs in 400 watt range. But i will take better results anyday

ive been and cfl grower for a few years due to heat issues and am going to a 600 hps. agree with stoner^, u wont be dissapointed with harvest. heat may be a problem in a tent, i use a larger area now and can stand the heat. 85~is as hot as i let it get
