I have attached some pics of my first setup and I am coming for any suggestions. Currently I have a box that is 4ft tall and 2ft wide, I have 6 26watt cfls, 3 daylight, 3 warm. I have an oscillating fan, and a pc fan for intake, and 2 medium size pc fans for exhaust. Also there is a small hole cut out to allow more air to circulate. The ph is reading at about 6.8 to 6.9. The temperature fluctuates from 77 to about 82 throughout the day. I give them some water in the morning, a little mist in the afternoon, and a little bit of water at night before I go to sleep. They are currently on a 24/24 schedule, and will be getting switch in a few more weeks.

The strains I have in there that I know are female are Ice and Skunk #1, and the rest or just some high grade. The big one has been in there for just over 2 weeks, the rest just over a week. No nutrients have been added yet. Anyway, just looking for some suggestions.bongsmiliebongsmilie

First off watering 2 times per day is way way too much, maybe 2 times per week. You want to really saturate the soil each time you water, as the soil dries and the water is now at the bottom of the pot , the roots will seek it out and grow down towards it, maximizing the surface area to take up nutrients.

Your soil needs more perlite, approx 30% of the volume should be perlite.

You have about 150 watts total, which is about enough to grow 1 plant to harvest, not enough light to harvest all those plants. If your just using the CFL to do vegetative growth you are ok with them, for flowering you want either more lights, or a nice HPS

The skunk will probably end up being the biggest plant, its easier to grow than the other strains.

You won't need any nutes for a month or so yet, be patient.

Ok if i up it to around 6 42 watt cfl's would that be enough for at the least 3 females? The light sockets I have in there are the double socket type, which are wired to a 12v DC plug. Is there something bigger than a 12V DC plug that I can use to wire more than one of those double sockets to so that I can free some space up on the surge protector?

Also, the reflective stuff in there seems to be working fairly ok, will it make a dramatic increase in bud size and density if I switch it over to mylar?

First image is an unknown nug strain and just about 3 weeks old.

The 2nd image is skunk #1 feminized and just about a week old.

The 3rd image is ICE feminized and just about a week old as well.

And the last image is a horizon shot of my babies displaying their height.
