First time Grower W/ questions on box

Hey everybody Im new to RIU and growing in general........I am in the middle of setting up a grow closet and would like some professional advice, I have a storage closet type thing I got at walmart...... It is about 4'9" tall 1'5" wide and about 1'2" deep.... It is also split in half.........I have 4 24" 75watt grow lights from walmart mounted to the insides ( but after some reading on them Im not sure they are good for growin bud) I also have 3 100watt 2700 lumen CFL's mounted on top of the box... I was thinking of using soil cause Im a newbe and I have read that it is more forgiving......So I guess my questions are as follows.....
1. Is this a good setup? (note I also plan on puting up a emergency blanket on the back for reflection)
2. How many plants can grow in this space?
3. What size fans and blowers would work best in a area like this?

I also have 3 6500k CFL's lol

put some CFL's in the bottom part of the closet.... i'm guessing bottom to veg, top to flower??

you'll need something to prop up the plants to get them close to the light... one inch from the canopy is best... you'll want at least 4 26 watt CFL's per plant.... just to give you an idea....

Thank You for the info!!

I would like to use bottom to veg and the top to flower, But I was worried that the run off light from the veg, might mess with the flowering....(say if the light is off for 12hrs during flowering)

I just noticed the cfl's I have are 23watts=100watts..........I should get some 26 watts then!

With that small area I would only get about 1 plant at a time in each section of the box right?

looks good man, i have those lights from wal mart and they arent bad for veg at all man...your gonna need those cfls on the top to be able to be lowered down closr to your plants, or be able to place your pants high and lower as they grow, you want them like 2 or 3 inches from the bulbs to max the light. you will need one or two of those lights in the bottom also, looks like a pretty nice closet though check ot my setup man lemme know what you think

Thanks for the kind words!! That is good to know I will go ahead and use those for veg.... I also put 3 more cfl's down below for veg.....You have a very nice set-up! Was that cfl you have on the side of your box? If so do you think I would need cfl on the side of my box aswell or should the "Grow Lights" work ok?

well it all depends man...at first i had the cfls on top and the tubes on the side, but the only way i could get it to look how i wanted was the other way around, the CFl's, as long as you have reflectors to maximize the light, put out more direct light than thee tubes so if yo want it to be taller and less full put the cfl's on top, if you want it to be shorter and bushier put them on the sides, most of my growth is focused outward now toward the direct light of the CFL. it hasnt grown up much in this new setup bt has got real nice full branches. what ever you need to make it fit jsut mess with it and find what works best for you in your setup...dont listen to every idiot out there lol including me...thats jst what ive read and noticed myself
