First Time Grower

Hey there, I live in a small village in the middle of nowhere, and have decided that I want to take a shot at growing my own, it will keep me occupied, and save money.

I don't want anything massive like a growing house, just a few plants so I can have a nice little supply

I have one room in the house which would be pheseable, and a shed in the back garden where I work on my motorbikes (It has electricity, lights, sockets ect..) and now I'm not going to lie, I'm young. 17, to be completely honest. But that doesn't make me any less intelligent I don't work, or go to college, so have no money for bud! and any money I get, can be pissed away in a week.

Where do you think the best place to grow would be? In my bedroom, or in the shed? I'm in the UK, and plants would die easily in the weather we have over here - so outdoor growing isnt phesable.

I had a bag of green once, and it was very seedy - so I kept the seeds, can I use these?

I know about germinaton so thats all gravy, and my ma' used to do alot of gardening, so he has plant nutrients and all that.

I also used to have a portable camping television, and had to big halogen stick lamps on the back and i kept those when i threw it out (because I'm a bit of a horder) so if i wire those up I should be able to use those.

So what do you guys think? my parents both know I smoke ganja - and would rather I did that drink - So it's all cool on that front. Jus some general tips would be apprieciated

I still think your going to need some money to start growing..
For the soil, and lights.

If you can grow in a cabinet in your room, then thats good, and it will serve your purpose (1-3 plants for say..)

And the seeds you got should be ok.. grow 4 or more of them so at least one is a female..
And read alot.... here and in books.. and than give it a shot!

you remind me of myself. 17 years old, 6 plants in a box in my room [cfl setup] however, i had to chop them cause of construction and i was worried the workers would have obligations to tip off the police or something.

i took about 100 seeds out of a half ounce of super low grade mids and germinated like 12 of them. 8 or so popped and 6 of those survived. got some miracle gro potting soil out of the shed out back and mixed small amounts of osmocote in with the soil. they were looking so good in the month that i had them, and they were sort of skunky. i wish i got to crop out... haven't attempted growing since.

the seeds should work fine as long as you take care of the plants.

grow in your room, not outdoors. look for a grow cabinet setup and get some ideas.
