New to growing. Would love feed back on their shape and conditions . I found some old seeds I stowed away from stuff that was really dank . I believe them to be either critical kush , black hawk down, sour blue berry haze or kem dog .
they sprouted June 5th . They’re 2-1/2 months old .
started indoors , in organic cheap soil . I transplanted them into fox farms oceanic soil . The lights I was using are 3 LED flood lights . Roughly 850 lumens per light 10.5 w and 5000k. On aug 5 I was forced to move them out doors due to a power outage . They’ve remained outside since. I know they were heat stressed at some point in the beginning because I have 3-4 petal leaves more so at the bottom And healthy looking 5-7 finger leaves the rest of the way up . I trimmed two and and fimmed the one . I really appreciate any feedback or tips and tricks to keep these girls going ! Thanks in advance !

I had planned on it cause ever since moving them outside they started to grow pistils abundantly . But if they aren’t ready by end October I have to move them back in I’d imagine I’d have to get proper lighting . I had assumed they were stretched out via comparison to other peoples . Hopefully they’ll do okay . Also ,side note . I’m using ph down cause my water is a 8 so I have tolower it to a 6.0-.6.5 . But for some reason my soil always remains at what appears to be 7.5 according to my ph meter .... I don’t understand why . Thanks in advance .

The soil is "buffered". Im not a scientist so this might not be perfectly accurate, but I'll try.

The soil is the dominate ph in this scenario. If you put in 4ph water, the soil will buffer and won't change. Think of it like this... tou have to change what the soil ph is, and you can't typically do that with nutes and water, no matter the ph. You need to change the soil. Not remove and replace, but alter it. This can be done with things like dolomite, silica, etc... but thats a bit beyond me to teach ya. Most organic growers are great at it tho.

This doesn't mean you should radically change your nute or water ph, you must change the soil ph.

I hope this helps, I know it aint much.

No I appreciate any help . Ever since the start I’ve been heavily researching. I was almost assuming my ph meter was junk because it was such a cheap one lol I’ll have to look into this dominate ph soil thing . And adjust from there . Man oh man did I wish I paid attention in science class lol understanding how a plant grows and lives is epic lol

Your cool little brother.... just start researching the scientific definition of PH and go from there. Your travels will cover everything. Teach a man to fish.... get it?
