First TImer With some bag seeds

So its been 4 days since I put the seed in the soil. I used some tap water that I microwaved to take out chlorine and stuff. And then last night I watered it again. But I still have nothing even popping up green at all. I just used some regular potting soil. I have 1 23 watt CFL in there. So last night I planted another Seed in another pot I have used just regular tap on that one and I am leeving it alone for now. Also I am germinating another seed. And if I can get that seed to germinate in a day or two I am going to plant it into the pot that isnt showing any results. Keep in mind that I did not germinate any of the other seeds. So I only have 1 more bag seed left that I havent done anything with. For my lighting I hope to add another cfl for now. And maybe a couple more later. I am getting very frustrated.
I am using a little hamper type thing with some chip bags inside out so the mylar side is showing. I currently have no fans. I have to hide this grow so I dont know if I can put a fan in it. Please if you have any ideas on a cheap very silent fan let me know. Also I am keeping the light about 2 inches from the soil. Please help I am so frustrated.

A method a lot of people use for germinating seeds is to put them in a cup of water to soak overnight. Peferably in a place where the water doesnt get too cold. After 24 hours they should sink if tapped or stirred. This means the water has penetrated the shell. You can then fold the seeds in a wet papertowel and put that in a ziplock bag in a warm place. Not too hot, but warm. Every day, cafefully unfold the towel and see if you see a little pale green booger poking out. When you see this, carefully put the seed in moist soil and cover with more soil. You can put this now in a plastic dome to keep in moisture and in a few days the sprout should show.

Plant a couple at a time incase there is a death and to help shift the odds of getting at least 1 female.

Im not getting anything that seed that I germinated has been in the grounf for at least a couple days and still nothing that has been 3 seeds that didnt work is there something Im doing wrong plz help

There could be a chance that the bag seeds weren't viable to start with some time the quick curing of large crops or the stuff that is compressed get very warm during the curing stage and the seeds are cooked in the shell. Other wise all you need is a plastic container a paper towel and distilled or tap water. Put the paper towel into the container moisten it up and place the seeds on the paper towel now take another moist paper towel andplace it covering the seeds so it is touching them. Place a cover or plastic wrap over the container and keep in a warm 80-90F area in semi darkness ie no direct light. Within 1-3 days most or all should split the shell and produce a single tap root when this is about 1/4" long gently place the seed in rockwool or rapid rooters and 5-7 days later you should have roots coming out of the plug or cube. No rocket science here but bag seeds are a crap shoot on germination rateHitman40
