Flowering times?

Sorry if this has been asked before but i cant find an answer anywhere! Are the flowering times from when you switch to 12/12 or from when they first show sex?

Everything fine with the grow i just wanna get some seeds germinated ready for when i harvest. they're barneys farm lsd and they give 65 days flowering time (9-10 weeks)
, i know they're all different cos of nature and that but they took 2-3 weeks before they started to bud. I dont wanna start the new seeds if its 10 weeks from showing sex and i'm 2-3 weeks early.

The flowering time starts the first day you switch them to 12/12. They always start slow and finish fast. The reason being it takes time for them to switch the vegging hormones to the flowering hormones

they wont show sex unless they start to go into flowering. if you got the set up you could start the 12/12 ...find the males..and go back to veg to get them big..then go back to 12/12...it just takes longer cause you are confusing the plants

Cheers beef supreme, thats all i wanted to know . i'll start the seeds next week then as that'll be week 9 so they should be ready to transfer when im done with this grow.
