Flowering!!!!

Whats up stoners and stonettes lol. Im back with another question! this is my very first grow. Im flowering early as you can see. This is month 2. I started early october. Made the switch to 12/12. A few weeks ago. Im not really familiar with the flowering process. What kind of lights should i use for flowering? I dont have the budget to run hps's all day. I have been using cfl's the entire time. Its been working but i know from reading that they say lights with red spectrum produce great results in flowering. How long does the flowering process take? What do i need to do to make sure my bud has a premium taste, smell, etc? Anybody have any idea what strain this might be? How long will this take?

For flowering you want soft light 2700k cfl's would be good. Flowering usually takes about 9 weeks from switching to 12/112.
As to strain I have no idea. For taste etc that takes place in the drying and curing process. Lots of threads on those subjects so I 'm not going to repeat info here .Happy growing and may all of your harvests be bountiful.

I am on my first indoor grow so I don't have experience to draw on, but everything I have read indicates that flowering will take anywhere from 8 weeks on, possibly to twelve weeks or beyond for some strains heavy in sativa influence. You will need a good magnifier to watch the trichomes from about 6 weeks on. There is a lot of advice on the stage of maturity you want before harvest. Basically, trichomes will turn from clear to cloudy to amber as they mature. You will probably want mostly cloudy to all cloudy with some amber, depending on the type of effect you want from the bud. More on the clear side will give a more heady high while all cloudy to amber will give more of a body high. Try cutting and curing a bud at various stages to see what best fits your needs. That's what I intend to do.

ive got white widow x as one of my flowering strains, yours isnt very reconisable as its so small. You should get loads of 2700k 23w cfls and hope for 7g yeikd. Next time try a longer veg with more light coverage. Goodluck... Also cfls 2-3 inches from plants for best effect
