for those who believe in cfls day 21 flowering

I veg them for three weeks and been on 12/12 now for three weeks tell me what u guys think???? so when i say day 21 that is day i switched from 18/6 to 12/12

So you started off giving the newly planted seeds 18/6 hours then once they sprouted you switched to 12/12? Pretty dec if you ask me.

no i veg for 21 days after i planted then switched 12/12 only had 4 23 w cfl 6500k for veg though but have about 330w 2700k for flowering

arnt the 2700K's meant for vegging? and the other for flowering?

Maybe Im backwards today.

cfl s will do the job but as you can see its not enough light for the plant to develope properly, but still good job for cfl's

no 2700k is for flowering or i've been wrong last two grows. um let me check......lol

6500k for vegging and 2700k for flowering. Though, its recommended you do dual spectrum for vegging and switch to all 2700k for flowering.

Look's alright would be better with a 400hps and its only another 70w.

yeah but this is a closet grow and dont have the money or room for a hps set up. maybe in the future

nice. I am also doing a cfl grow (6500k and 2700k) good way to go if you are on a buget

ya just get the ones that say daylight on them for veggin, i hear ya it gets very costly for grows

plus this is just my second grow first was outside and was not pleased with the yeild. a lot of it was my fault plus genetic bag weed if this grow is a sucess then i will purchase some good seeds

What about the 330W CFL now advertised. Will they do the job?

Here is my cfl'ed plant..dont know how far along it is(haven't been keeping track) but it should be ready soon.. all im using is one 68watt and 42watt clf for flower(2700k)and one 23 watt (5500k) for veg

jsteezy your so wrong bro i bet u my plant with 3 23 w is fuckin amazing so dont bring that u cant do it with crfls into this thread bro it can be done and i will continue to argue that it looks better then an hps light could do now granite hps works wonders especially with large number of plants but if u got one or two plants with cfls they will look just as good just depends on how u grow em and take care of em im living proof and soon unkl will be too

I just wanted to comment on what someone said about the cost of growing, all I would like to say is you get back what you put into it...but I understand about the money, when I started out I start with CFL's in a homemade grow box inside a closet with bag seeds...which was good b/c it helped me learn how to grow without messing up on a good strain, but once I thought I had it down half way good I started to buy the right stuff to grow with, and after every crop I bought another thing or two and before I knew it I had almost everything that I needed and I also saw a big diff. in the end harvest, it was getting stronger and more of it.... overall better smoke....now I am growing good strains with good lights nut. etc , so start out just the way you are and start getting better stuff and learn everything you can and before you know it you will be surprise with what you'll be growing.
