For us Canadians this could be a good sign!

I saw an article the other day stating that an activist named Dana Larson has been approved for an official petition to decriminalize marijuana. Dont get me wrong its still a looooong way from ever happening but hey its something right? The other nice thing is that if this ever does go through, we are a lot different than the States in the aspect that a lot of laws become federal not provincial. For example if you have a medical marijuana card here its legal federally not just in the province you got it. Which means if its decriminalized in BC it might not take long for it to become decriminalized all over Canada! Heres the link let me know what you guys think

Legalization may be closer up here than people think. When the PM Chretian was on the way out they had a bill on the table to legal MJ and just ran out of time before he was replaced with PM Harper. He's been holding things up. Right now both the Liberals and NDPs have MJ legalization in their election platforms... what we need to do is get all the pot heads away from their play-stations long enough to vote...lol

Its all being done with the guise of being a change to the medical grow licences here but actually, they could careless for patients now.
The vast majority of those preparing to become growers under the new system have designs on patients wallets for the short term while
they wait for a huge increase in sales once it becomes possible for them to sell to recreational users.

If you think it sucks now to be a medical mj patient, wait until you are also not the preferred customer.
Some of the pre-licencing websites I have seen, look more like they are geared to stoners rather than medical patients in my opinion....

All along with mandatory sentences for those who try to supply themselves, come next year.
More than 6 plants will get you two years....mandatory.
At the same time they are building new prisons, to house this potential increase in non violent offenders(easy criminals,especially the lame and sick)

All while planning to bring a bunch of new satellites on line to scan your properties daily.....
Wow its gonna so much fun to live in this time period....being afraid to speak in your own home or plant a seed in your yard or basement.

I guess this is the modern economy,take something that grows in nature , make it subject to your rules, then make sure all avenues are covered
with respect to who gets to make money off of it all the while, Hst-ing, every last aspect of it to death.
