Hello let me just say thanks in advance for any and all help this is a great community.
Ok so I jumped into this project after trying for awhile to acquire all the necessary tools and here's what I'm using.
6 seeds of mixed origin, they are all high quality but they came to me unidentifiable, they are white widow, belladonna or ak47
4 40watt fluorescent lights and in 2 weeks will add another 2 in the fixtures are 1 warm 1 cool each, tomorrow I will be adding plant growing specific lights in place of the cool bulbs.
For soil I am using the large pots with adequate drainage with a loose rock bottom and organic potting soil and a scoop of bat guano + nutrients.
A Ph reading on each pot indicate a nice 6.5 level and I also might add a tiny bit of dolomite lime just to be safe (IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?)
The seeds were germinated last friday and 3 came out strong and quick, the other 3 took a full 28 hours but with a strong healthy root.
It has been 4 days now and 3 are looking good I think
The other 3 have sprouted but they don't have a stem yet and are growing far slower then those 3.
So my questions are
- are the lights good ? I plan to add more lights as the plants get bigger if necessary
- fertilizers what should I be looking into, worm castings If I can find them ?
- how are my baby's coming along? do they look healthy in respect to their age ?
- Nitrogen I heard is great for plants early on what are some of my options here ?
- Is the warm cool bulb mixture good or should I just go with 4 of the plant growing fluorescent's ?
Due to language finding materials is extremely difficult but I managed to find what translates to plant specific grow lights 40watts which I will be putting in tomorrow.
Again any help is greatly appreciated.
