Forgot to turn light on for new plant

Starring a mother plant and forgot to turn the light on. Will this cause it to change to flower mode after one night? Do I need to start another mother plant now?

It will not go into flower because of one day's mishaps. You're fine.

Your fine but I think a timer for your light may be more reliable than your memory.
