Ok so I have the foxfarm feeding schedule:
foxfarmsoilbig.jpg
I'm really confused on how I should be watering exactly....
I am currently flowering a week in, I never used vegging nutrients in the begging, I let them veg off there nutrients in the fox farms ocean forests soil.

I first started using nutrients at week 5 of the chart at the beginning of flowering. The start of my plants were Sunday (8/1/10) of last week, I fed them the nutrients of week 5 on the chart all at once too a 5 five gallon (tiger bloom, big bloom, open sesame).
..... here is my problem..
I watered first on Sunday of last week but the 5 gallon pot didn't really dry out till today wich is Saturday (8/7/10) , I then watered it with water. Is this right ? I'm almost too week 6 on the chart (tomorrow 8/8/10) should I have? watered with water? Solubles?Concentrates? Can sum1 please give me an exact way to get it on schedule?

First of all what plants are you growing?

What week into flowering are they in?

What nutes do you have?

I feel like I am the only one who knows what he is asking, but I don't know the answer. If you look at the chart, all the way to the right it says "Feed every other watering". Then above the solubles only it says "feed every other watering" again. He is asking (at least I think), do the solubles get added every other watering like the liquids or every other other watering (every 3rd watering). I would assume the solubles go in every other water like the liquids but I don't know for sure.

your assumption is correct. go with water and then next time a mix of all your nutes, solubles, etc. then water the next time after that, then a mix of nutes and solubles, etc. no need to staggar the nutes and solubles.

remember that it is much harder to underfeed your plants then it is to overfeed your plants. When i used just the FF line in soil just adding the FF big bloom and then the FF tiger bloom (at the general feeding, not heavy) lowered my ph from 7.5 to 6-6.2(which was great), but if you go with a heavy feeding dose of both (big bloom and tiger bloom) plus open sesame (or beastie bloomz or cha-ching), that might be a bit much. might want to back off on the doses a bit if using all these products at once.

something like 3 tablespoons FFBB, 2 teaspoons FFTB, 1/4 teaspoon open sesame (or whatever) per gallon. then straight water the next time. i don't grow in soil anymore but i did this successfully for a year or so and it worked great.

I'm a soil grower and I currently use the full FF line-up, and have for my last 6 grows with absolutely outstanding results. I am currently only growing 2 strains --- Dinafem Power Kush and Ceres Orange Bud. I grow them in 3-gallon pots filled with FFOF cut by about 25 to 30% with additional perlite. I follow the FF schedule EXACTLY and I water every other day (usually about 1/3 gallon per plant).

With some strains I've had to back off from the recommended nute strength a bit, but with these two strains, they'll take all you'll give 'em! My sequence goes like this:

8/9/10 --- water with nutes (and solubles, according to the schedule)

8/11/10 --- water (and I'll ocassionally add a tsp of Cal-Mag to each gallon)

8/13/10 --- water with nutes (and solubles, according to the schedule)

8/15/10 --- water

8/17/10 --- water with nutes (and solubles, according to the schedule)

8/19/10 --- water

8/21 --- water with nutes (and solubles, according to the schedule)

etc, etc, ..................

This way I'm giving my girls nutes every 4th day and water every 2nd day.

First off if you are going a week between waterings then you might want to back off the amount you are feeding. like the above poster i like to water or feed every 2-3 days so i try to only give them what they will take. as far as the schedual goes stay like it says feed/water/feed/water and so on. just back off the amount so you can get more feedings in. as far the solubles i give them every watering and feeding 1/4tsp per gallon like it states. ive been following this routine in soil for about 3 or so years with no problems or sign of over ferting with the solubles every watering..........
