I was going to use foxfarm's growbig, big bloom, tiger bloom while using botanicare's
cal mag, liquid karma, and hydroplex. Just wanted to get opions on this. Not sure what hydroplex does.:joint::joint::joint:

That should work just fine. Hydroplex supplies some additional macro and micro nutrients that your plant can benefit from. Start off with 2mls per gallon.

i personally do all botanicare products. FOX FARMS is kinda old school but im not gonna talk shit about it... i use botanicares PRO GROW SOIL BLEND, LIQUID KARMA, AND SILICA BLAST for vegetation. when i go into flowing i will use PRO BLOOM SOIL BLEND, LIQUID KARMA AND HYDROPLEX! hydroplex is botanicares bloom booster and is only to be used during weeks 3-6 of your flowering stage! hydroplex is like fox farms beestie bloomz...

check out my outdoor grow and comment!! https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/338139-my-outdoor-legal-grow-2010-a.html

Save your money and just use a chemical fert like Schultz or Jack's Classic. I bought a bottle of Schultz 10-15-10 All Purpose for like $4 at the hardware store and it works just as good as my Botanicare Pure Blend Pro for $20 a quart. It says use 7 drops per gallon every time you water, but I usually play it safe and only use it every other water. Never had any issues with nute burn. Don't get me wrong, they love the Botanicare too, but to me it is unnecessary. Plus, it already has the micro nutrients so no supplementation is needed. If used properly, chemical ferts, including the "cannabis killer" Miracle Gro, work beautifully. A nitrogen molecule is a nitrogen molecule. A plant doesn't know (or care) if it came from cow shit, worm shit, bat shit, or bird shit. Just my 2 cent.

I forgot to add this is for hydro thanks anyways sonar for your comments. If you see any of my post anybody and everybody is welcomed to share their opions please. Thanks guys for the replies. I also been using a little superthrive.

calismoke28- so sweet dude, clone or seedling?, did you start those inside or in the Great Outdoors? How old are or were those at that heigth? I tried to do a gurilla grow, but it didn't work out. I mix my on supper dirt one time and put some 6 inchers in with it in 5 gallon buckets. Those babies grew three feet tall with in a month. I don't know but by my standards that was hella fast.

While you bring up some good points, some of those supplements are giving the plant additional micros and marcos that the plant can use to produce more resin, more weight, and more aroma. I've seen the Jack's classic grows on here and grows using other nutes of a similar price and composition. There is no doubt that they work, but the quality is average. Your post may just be comparing base lines and if that's the case, I'll agree as the Botanicare base nutes are nothing stellar. But their additives make the base nutes near complete and it's the difference between 'getting the job done' and 'holy frosty nugs batman'.

I'd be happy to post pics of botanicare results if you have your shultz resuts.

I have most of the GH line but this time I decided to use fox farms because the trio is organic. I don't think the botanicare supplements are organic just like the fox farms flower supplement trio.

taste and smell I want quality over quantity, If I could grow outside I try for both. I would have the sun shine for big buds and would use super organic dirt and firts. Then the only thing I would to worry about is pest, but growing outside is far off dream of mine... it will more an likely never happen unless I get a huge ass piece of property.

hey zcomfort whats up!? yeah man i started them indoors and put them outside in june at 3 feet tall! well i am sorry to tell you this because alot of people make this mistake! the only thing organic that fox farms have is their BIG BLOOM everything else IS NOT ORGANIC!!!!!!! if you dont believe me just look at all the other bottles they say nothing about being organic just big bloom does. I think liquid karma from botanicare is also organic but not sure on that....

Well I had this big paragraph plan then my connection went down, but I guess it doesn't matter... neither one may be fully organic but do believe that foxfarms is little more. I will eventually try both so I will see.

Homebrewer I have the regular three part plus the micro hard water which I will no longer need since I purchased a RO system. I see you have the Kool bloom, do you have the liquid and the powder. I purchased all of it. I got those two, diamond nectar the bottle doesn't say what its for. I have flora blend and the florakleen. Do you have any these products? Last time I used florakleen it fucked up my hydro strawberries.

I use liquid and dry KoolBloom at different stages, as well as diamond nectar and floraBlend. The koolBloom liquid is nothing more than their florabloom, but more potent. KoolBloom dry is worth it's weight in gold and should only be used in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering. The diamond nectar has fulvic or humic acid in it which is a natural chelate and aids the plant in the uptake of nutrients, I use it in veg. Floralicious bloom does something similar in flower.

I don't use floraKleen anymore as I like the Botanicare product better. But, it's just 3% sugar water in a salt based solution I think, so you could make your own flushing agent if you wanted.

I haven't started feeding yet. The seedlings are only a week old from sprouting. I was going to start with the foxfarm feeding schedule at 1/4 which is teaspoon of Bb per gallon and 1/4 teaspoon of Gb per gallon and 1/4 or full strength of the botanicare (liquid karma, silicablast, cal mag) plus very little superthrive. This all depended on the EC reading as well. I will be hand watering them until a good root development, then I will place them in my ebb&flow.

home brewer I was going to make a ebb&flow with the same mixers, but decided to go ahead an splurged the money on a factory made system... I never could find a sealant that would stay water proof or just stay. I tried at least 4 different kinds that all claim to be water proof(not water resistant). None them would stay.
