Freakshow cuttings looking super sad!

Hi again,

Newbie here and damn I'm probably going to learn some tough lessons pretty quickly:

I was given fairly rudimentary 'Freakshow' cuttings nearly 3 weeks ago and they are looking like a dogs breakfast. Used some clonex on the cut petiole, and was told to just put them straight into containers (as I didn't have any cloning bricks or whatever they're called) and use humidity domes. Wasn't really told how to use this set up and didn't do much research into best practices, but wondering if I can still save these puppies? They're both in organic coco coir with a little biofeed and white shark mycorrhizal where the petiole was put in. I made sure the substrate was moist when I transplanted, and didn't water or take the humidity domes off for over a week. Then I began to take the domes off once a day for a spray, but I've been pretty sparing with the foliage spray - choosing instead to spray the domes and cover them back up.

Growing in a 4ft x 4ft tent under 315w CMH.

As mentioned, it's coming up to 3 weeks and I still have the humidity domes on... not sure what to do. Best techniques for watering/humidity domes from here on out? Should I spray the foliage or substrate? Am I correct in thinking that continued spraying of the foliage will not force the petiole to grow roots? Should I leave the humidity domes off now?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

1st thing I notice is the size of containers your rooting in...usually you'd use a red solo cup or pot about equal size.
How big is the dome you use compared to the container?
You MIGHT and I say that very lightly...lol...re-plant in to smaller containers.
There is green still on the plant, so there is hope, I never give up until the green is gone, but it may take some time before they can be cloned or flowered...4-8 weeks I'd guess.

All survived and turned into this.... (the two in the back are from seed, the clones are the other 4 big girls.

Looking very nice...good work.
If a plant can flower fully and then be re-vegged...then I figure if its green it should grow if the conditions are improved.
Try to remember to update here when you flower them out...will be nice to see all stages. :P

Yeah there hasn't been any new growth at all. I put the humidity dome back on last night and gave it a mist... biggest thing I'm unsure about is how to water/spray them...

Ta for all your help so far.

Thanks, I'm making sure the soil is much more moist now, and I'll put a heat mat underneath also... Just not sure if I should keep the humidity domes on or not. I think I should keep them on until I get some new growth.

I'm sorry bro but those are dead. I'm thinking you accidentally nuked them with food and watered the hell out of them?

No worries. It's a learning process.

Ha, that is also what I am thinking. Full novice here, so yes, learning every day. Will continue on tending to them (one is definitely dead) until they are absolutely gone, but next time I'll do things differently.

Peace

Anyone who grows lost a few learning the ropes. It happens and most of the time you figure out what went wrong and you avoid it going forward.

I've been growing 10 years and still occasionally lose one. I deal with a lot of plants though
