From Flowering back to Veg

Im a beginner and tryin to figure out if you can go from flowering back to vegetative.

I have a indica plant that was only vegging for maybe a month if not shorter(the fan leaves dont even have 5 points)

Its about 8 inches tall, already flowering, and im ready to cut the small buds off

The question im asking is am i able to cut the little buds off to dry,try to keep as many fan leaves as i can, and switch the plant back to a vegetative state

you can do that but it can take some time you might be able to grow another plant in that time
