See alot saying that it increaes vigor growth and reduces stretch.

12on 5.5 off 1on 5.5off repeate.

Surely the dark induces stretch? I veg 24hrs with the c3/c4 plant types co2 absorbtion in the day so i dont see how this tew will reduce streych or even be natural

I've down the Gas Light method many times ...mostly when I run outta light depo space and having to use other sheds
I've not had any issues even checking for molds etc daily all is good

vegging 24 hours I've not many euros that would do that canadians perhaps

I don't use a gas light, but I've been running 12/1 and 8/16 indoors for the past half year and I'm convinced.

I'm interested to see how well 12/1 prepares transplants for the outdoor season. I've struggled with some strains in the past getting confused after the abrupt switch from 18/6 to natural sunrise/sunset.

Oh, also, observations: Less stretch overall and same bud yields but with slightly faster finishing. Plenty of resinous trichomes as usual. It sounds like magic and well, it kinda is.

You can switch the cycle at any time. Some strains will definitely act differently, and I recommend to make sure your light timer has a battery backup because it seems important to have consistent timing for the cycles. I have had one strain that, from seed, decided to start flowering about 2-3 weeks after popping but all the others are great.

My Tahoe OG cut shows trichomes in veg and internodal spacing tightens up to 1/4 to 1/2 inch under 12/1. You can really tell it's a special plant.
