how do you tell if a seed is male or female. i didn't think you could, but i red off this comment on youtube that you can. please don't tell me how to Tell when its grown

That pretty much sums up my $.02 worth! Thanks for saving me the time!you can't. some feel that seeds have a predisposition for gender. others feel that gender is result of conditions. i think both. seeds are predisposed, but gender can be altered by environment.
there is no fool proof way to get 100% females without cloning.

fem seeds produce males and hermaphrodites.I can tell my seeds are females. Since they're feminized.
you cannot guarantee 100% female from seed, even if feminized.

Ed Rosenthol had somebody write in a say he noticed that if the tap root comes out of the top or bottom of the seeds then its female, if it comes out the middle then its male. He asked people to test it and write in and got some replies saying it worked for those people, never payed attention to it myself.
